How do i delete songs from ipod shuffle?

Question

I got a new ipod shuffle but i wanna delete the songs i put and make a whole new playlist.. but the new songs i download them from limewire.. how do i put the new songs from my limewire into the ipod?

to delete the old ones delete them from your itunes playlist and the re-sync your shuffle
