Mean Girls, in my opinion is the greatest movie ever! It was scripted by Tina Fey and she did a fantastic job! I could watch the movie a billion times and never get bored! I love it! It exagerates girl world and I absolutely love a good girly movie. Lindsay Lohan did a great job, as did the rest of the cast who played Regina George, Karen Smith, Gretchen Weiners, and Janice Ean did a totally fetch job also! That is the absolute best movie ever and I would recommend it to anyone!

'The City of Lost Children' is definitely up there - every shot is a masterpiece and it takes a LOT of talented people to bring a film together that seamlessly.
That said, it is quite difficult to pick just one film regarding production. There are so many brilliant aspects of production in many different films. Even those that are lacking in many other areas can have talented producers, editors, cinematographers etc... on the crew and if you don't have a good director to bring it all together, you can forget about it. Good question!

Since you mean in terms of production, I'd give a nod to Daryl F. Zanuck's "Cleopatra". This is one of the last epic movies rendered with the proverbial cast of thousands, multi-million dollar sets, etc. Today they'd just do it all with CGI, but back in the day (1960s) this was a MAJOR undertaking.
