I have read the best way to keep a surface piercing is to get it pierced with a surface bar because it does not make pressure on the skin. But how do they put it in if it has two 90 degree at each end. I have a link and it has a picture of a surface bar just in cause it is needed.

Its not putting the bar in so much that is the strange part (you can pull up your skin and maneuver the bar in) its the piercing itself. But most places that i have seen anyway don't use that jewelry until the piercing is healed instead they use this type of plastic i forget what its called but it makes it so your body can move with it and the plastic will be flexible it works very well in most cases
