You can only sue if you've made a financial loss or if they have failed in a contractual obligation. You usually find that the ticket conditions give them the right to cancel without notice.

That's a bummer.. any reason why it was cancelled? If it's a valid reason, like place is flooded then there's not much you can do about it really. But if they have just simply cancelled it and you have paid for it, then you should get a refund. Other than that, I'm not sure what you can do. Hope you have a good new year's anyway!

More information needed.

Did you check the cancellation/refund policy the site has?

If you signed anything look it over to see what the fine print says.

Did they give you an explanation of why it was cancelled?

Hi Linda,

They cannot cancel without giving a reason. To do so is breach of contract. Without knowing why this was done, I cannot help you further.
