Even banal things have something beautiful in them (I think everything has a bit of beauty in it) but I have yet to find something spectacular in it... I reserve spectacular for special occassions...
But there are a few banal sayings that get my attention because they hold some truth...
Gosh, this is the 2nd word I had to look up because I didn't know!
