I was a level 5 before I was kicked off of the site because certain people did not agree with my political views. Your only real option is to sign up for a new account.
I was able to determine who was reporting me so I turned the tables and reported them. I know that this is childish but it made me feel better.

People are always going to file unfounded reports. The problem is with Yahoo: they have outsourced the deleting function to the Philippines. Check the return IP addresss on your violation notices.
The only solution is to go to the "forum", the Answers Help and Suggestions Board and complain under the Wrongful Violations & Suspensions thread. Answers Team Katie and Janie are heavily invested in justifying the arbitrary deletions done by bots and those with limited English. However, over the past two days they have restored points to people without their usual nit-picking.

I have had this same problem with Yahoo. You have to realize they don't give a damn about you. Combine this with the fact that it would cost money, and you have the reason they make absolutely no effort to substantiate any of the reports, or answer you when you question them.
I, myself, am about ready to see if Google has any decent boards on their system. The problem is, they probable have the same problem.
There are many cowards whose whole lives revolve around the net. They get off on causing problems for others electronically because they don't have the nerve to stand up for themselves in real life.
That's just the way it is.

You can apply to Yahoo under the Freedom of Information Act regarding who is reporting you.
But it may not stop the problem.

Simple. It has happened to me on several occasions. Tell Yahoo to go jump off a cliff. I'll bet this doesn't go through.

Curve your questions around the edges so it dosn't seem to insult anyone or anything.
There are people on Yahoo Answers who seem to have nothing better to do then to report any random question.

The solution would be for everyone to report everyone. then something would have to give. or they would be cutting off everyone.so everyone report everyone they can. this is the most logical response to the situation.I have been cut off three times.and had to get new accounts.so lets begin reporting everyone you can .as much time as you can put into this the better Y'all.

You can sign up in another name, and state your case to Yahoo.

I don't understand it either. I don't report people unless they're spamming. Some people get vengeful I guess.
