A teller position is an entry level position. If you have the above qualifications, most banks are willing to train you to be a teller. Being a teller is not just about handling money. A friend of mine was a bank teller and she hated it. She said the customers were rude and hard to deal with. Hey, you are dealing with lots of money, I wouldn't was to be responsible for all of it. I have heard that you have to have really good credit to become a bank teller.

Most important thing is you have to have a good credit. Banks don't like people who have bad credit rating.

You should be good with math. You must be able to handle money and make correct changes.

You do not need a good education to be a bank teller, but it sure helps.
