You can start learning about stocks by going to your public library and getting books on famous people in the investing world. Warren Buffett is one.
You can also check a lot of places online such as investopedia.com, fool.com, yahoo finance, etc. There are also many investing related blogs that will help you learn as well. Seek and you shall find.
