i love to kiss...the right person!
if the two ppl kissing both have a chemistry then it is the most sensual thing that two ppl can do and enjoy it very, very much.
i don't enjoy pecking, it's more enjoyable to share a hug and a passionate kiss

There are different reasons but the most common is to show the person that you kiss that you care about them. My family (parents & siblings) were/are very affectionate. When ever we see each other now, we always hug & kiss each other. My daughters & I are the same way, when they come to see me or I go to see them that is the first thing we do. Hug & kiss each other because we love & have missed each other.
But it is different when a person kisses their spouse or boy/girl friends, then it is to show that you not only care/love them but that you want to be as close to them as you can. This kind of kissing usually leads to having sex together. I apologize if that shocks you but it's the truth.
I may be wrong but I am assuming that you aren't very old. If I'm right, you will probably understand better when you get older.
