I am 6 weeks into my pregnancy and my head starts to hurt really bad (like right now) I've been told that Tylenol and Advil arent good for you. I've also heard that Tylenol is ok for you to take. Im so confused. Please help!

I ob/gyn told me that the only kind of medicine that is ok to take while your pregnant is Tylenol anything else is bad for the baby. Hope this helps you.

Regular tylenol is ok, but Advill is not. My doctor recently gave me a list of things I can take. And it was pretty much just tylenol. Good Luck

Tylenol is the one you want to take. You do not want to take any blood thinning medicines. Like Motrin, Advil stuff like that. Tylenol is the number one recommended pain reliever to take while pregnant.

Tylenol is completely safe for you during pregnancy...the headaches are a regular part of pregnancy and you should take Tylenol to deal with them rather than suffer through them, If they get too bothersome please let your doctor know!! Good luck and Congrats!!

You should ask your doctor. Some medicines can be harmful. Sometimes they will advise u to take tylenol, sometimes they wont. In a situation like this you should consult your doctor, because he knows best

The paper from my doctor says to take only Tylenol or if that doesn't help, extra strength tylenol. Don't take asprin or ibuprophins at all...

ummmmmmm you def need to talk with your doctor and no medicines are not okay medicines are drugs....you should not be taking advice from people on here anyways
