It is called team work. I make dinner some nights and so does my hubby. I think I make the better dinner and have more time to, so I make most of them, but he does what he can.

As a woman, and wife, and not working, it is my job to cook, clean and do my role as a wife. It is part of a woman being under his submission, willing to do so, and it all about love, honour, and respect, and God fearing, of a woman, a wife, to do what her husband ask and request for her to do.
It is the key, to keep a marriage, a happy marriage, and giving your husband the upmost respect where is needed.
If you read the Proper Feeding Of A Husband, by Dr. laura Sch.
You can understand that men are very simple, but do request respect and obedience, while they work hard, pay for everything, and give all sacrifices to the marriage and to his wife.
NOw if a woman works, just like he husband, share household duties can be, and women, like myself, don't work, stay at home mom, of special needs children, my husband still helps around the house, so we can have more time together.
Its all what you put in a relationship, your submission, can be so extremely beautiful to a man, that he cherished you, protects you, and even will die for you.
So if you are not marry, and you are being controlled, you are being controlled. There is no commitment between the two of you, a legal contract that states and the vows between a husband and wife.

It may not be that way. What is he doing for her? Are they married? If she is living rent free with him, the least she can do is cook the food they eat.

You have to look at both sides of the coin, if she don't want to cook for him. He can find somebody else then where would she be? So all actions have reactions, so she should do what is best for her.

In our home it is my job to do the cooking and cleaning and managing the household and my husband's job to bring in the paycheck. So it wouldn't be controlling for my husband to request I make his meal. For me, it would be part of being a submissive wife. I'll bet the marriage you are describing is happier than you realize.

yea he is a bit controlling. If you both have a job and he comes home and waits for you to get home before supper is made , then he needs to go take some cooking classes. I don't expect supper when i get home nor do i ask for it.
good luck!

I don't! It means he's hungry and he wants her to cook him some of her good food! Although it could be a control issue if he demands to this and other things. Like staying home and not going out and stuff like that..........

Controlling isn't the word...The word is "Crazy"any women who jumps at every word her man tells her needs HELP..God made each individual as a person who has his/her own mind.Looks like to me she is in a relationship that is called "ABUSIVE"she needs to tell her man this:that's why they invented TV dinners(ha-ha)if ya that hungry pop one in the microwave and wait on me.I will get there when I get there. And if he has a problem with that then she needs to put him in check.Let him know this ain't the 1800 hello it's 2006 oops closer to 2007 women have come a long way..And one of them is we ain't slaves NO MO...
