ah.. if you're wondering the status of who is running/may run... this question does a great job of explaining it...

(the question actually only varies from mine slightly, from who do you like, to who do you think has the best chance... not always the same answer)

Newt Gingrich. He is a traditional Republican.

No on McCain because he is an opportunist and is hated by the base

No on Rudy because he is too liberal on social issues and that does not fly with the Southern base.

No on Romney because he is a flip flopper on abortion. The abortion issues is not as much as a problem as his views changing with the wind.

As for Democrats, it is the Republicans to lose.

Republicans: Rudy has the best chance because he is more moderate. He may be "too liberal on social issues" yet these days I think the American people want a moderate president who can work successfully with both parties.

Democrats: I think Barack Obama has the best chance even though he lacks experience and has yet to show much of who he is and what he stands for. He has charisma, he has no major political baggage (like Hilary) and he connects to the people who he speaks to.

I don't know who for the Republicans but as for the Democrats someone on the Republicans side convents Senator Obama to run just so the African-American vote would be split and mess up Senator Clinton chances to win the nomination.

For the Republicans would be Huckabee
For the Democrates they need a moderate to start the pull back to center. Not Hillary, Obama, or Kerry any of those 3 would mean GOP will win no matter who they put up.

the comparable reason Libs block law in a Conservative controled homestead, the media calls it "protecting off" the Republicans. while Republicans do the comparable element, it truly is call" obstructionist". and you Libs ask your self why we scream media bias. we could get this taken care of out. power shifts lower back and forth simply by fact the typical public votes. once you adult adult males get in, you steamroll law, no compromise (no longer as quickly as from Nov 2 and till now to the final typical). And we get from the President on national television to a Senior Senator "properly, elections have outcomes" and Obamacare grow to be forced by way of (bribes and all). Now the homestead is going Conservative and Libs are dictating that Conservatives could desire to compromise. the place grow to be the compromise while the Libs have been in fee? Screw that. Libs Boss Hogged their way around with the homestead and senate, we placed a give up to it. the Senate is next, and greater effective than possibly the President too. And while we Boss hog our way around you Libs would be screaming bloody homicide and annoying Compromise. and that i might for my section moist myselfe if the recent President reported for the time of what's meant to be assembly approximately COMPROMISE to easily say "elections have outcomes" go in the time of the motions of a countrywide assembly, forget approximately approximately each thing they stated and in simple terms ram our regulation by way of besides (nonetheless, this might get you kicked out of workplace like the Dems, perhaps no longer this sort of stable element after all).

I think as long as Hilary or Kerry do not run for presidency, the Dems will have a good chance at taking it. Many people are fed up with the direction our country is going in right now...

Who's running? I haven't been paying attention due to the fact that there's almost 2 years until the next election. When there's a year left, I'll start finding out who's running and who I like.

Repubicans: hate gay people, that's actually a plus for them ironically
also that they are usually more Christian, promise to have stronger protection against people who want to hurt America.
Lower taxes...... I would like JOHN MCCAIN, because he's actually moderate from my standpoint, but not many republicans like him

Democrats: stronger emphasize on education, the situation on Iraq, they do more to help Americans in realms of health care because the gov't could actually fund it (higher taxes)......
Barack Obama or Hilary, but not so enthusiastic about her.
