I used to live near Christchurch cathedral in Dublin. There was a church right beside my bedroom and the two of them together used to drive me f*cking nuts. I used to hate being there on a Sunday morning, especially if I had been out the night before.

I like the sound of church bells ringing, although thankfully I don't live near a church.
I have stayed at places before where they have rung church bells nearby on a Sunday morning and it can be annoying if you get woken up. :D
A friend of mine used to live beside a church and he told me that he was used to the bells, so I suppose if that's the case then it's just a question of not being used to them.

Your absolutly acceptable approximately Sundays. there is no longer something on television particularly in case you haven't any longer have been given cable. And Sunday reminds you that day after today you have college or paintings. perhaps all the bored ppl of Sunday can meet up for as quickly as and doing something relaxing lol

church is a holy place to sit down and relax your mind and mediate , if you start praying holeheartdely the church bells will be like the voice of god to tell you what is good and bad, so dont take it a music or noise , consider it as god's voice to people to chose right path in life

I love churchbells. Kind of like chimes. The bells from my church play a hymn - it's definitely not just a noise.

It is only once a week and does not go on all day long. Get over it. It is not worse than ambulance, fire or police sirens an dif you actually listen to it often they are very musical.

when I first moved here the bells used to wake me every sunday, but now I'm used to them I don't notice them anymore

i live in a community that has a high muslim population community and the call to prayer used to b something i heard.. it never annoyed ..it used to fill me with wonder..now i dont hear it
