Leave them both alone and stay away from them until they come to their senses. Don't risk losing your friends by getting into their battle; they'll inevitably ask you to take sides, and no matter what you do, you'll lose at least one friend.

Change the subject.
Ask them why they have to fight over whatever it is they're fighting about.
Ask them if they realize what they're doing to your friendship.
Tell them that when the fight you don't want to be around them any more.
If they really care how they look to others, tell them that they're being childish.
And my personal favorite
"ALRIGHT! We agree on the fact that we DISAGREE! Now let's move on!"

Walk away. Let the two stupid friends fight, and then wonder if you really need friends like that.
