skin select file keeps interupting its a pictures file but says skinselect file on it and it jumps up on the screen all the time, how can I get rid of that ?

you need to get a pop up blocker if not it could be a program that you downloaded off line that may be causing the pop up

Hmmm...by the name of the file, it sounds like somebody's been doin porn...Wouldn't be you...Would it?...Just kidding...Anyway, it might be a virus...Usually, something like windows popping up are minor viruses...no need to worry about the whole computer dying because of it, but you may want to run a virus scan...It won't kill it, but you may find that this type of virus might slow your computer down significantly...

You don't give much information, do you use windows xp? Try booting into safe mode, or use msconfig.

sounds like adware its nothing to bad and can easly be removed. try using Ad-Aware SE
