I am not divorced yet. I want to hear others' experiences. I'm afraid and need to hear what others have done to handle it.

You should already had this done through the divorce, your attorney had failed at your best interest.
Social security disability, and alimony is your only option.
Social security disability does not pay much, but you need to apply social security disabiltiy, and your attorney to get your alimony for those of disabilites.
Look on the web sites of people of disbabilties, and see where you fall in the criteria.

if so-go to your ss office and file
u will b better off
