It's not blackmail.

You sold your parental rights for $250. I'm sorry, but reading legal documents is important.

You might be able to sue to get that document nullified, but it'll cost you more than $250.

No this isnt right unless ur an abusive parent or an alcoholic then it could be i would consider trying for blackmail n a miscarriage of justice for u n ur son. As i am a unwanted daughter in australia i know what it feels like to want the unconditional love of a parent and never be able to get it my parents split up while i was 2 and my mum didnt want me but she kept me away from my father even tho he had fortnightly access to me and would beat me up if i asked to see him now coz of this i have no relationship with either of my parents so consequently i dont celebrate xmas its too painful for me. If u dont fight for ur rights n those of ur sons this could happen to him plz fight with all ur might. It will be worth it in the end.

so, you needed money bad enough that for 250 you turned loose of your own kid? I'd hire an attorney, and you better hope you've got plenty of money now, cause it's gonna take it to get to see your son. Good Luck.

Yikes.... If the lawyer was present and you signed the papers without reading them... Then your kinda up SH1T creek without a paddle. Get yourself a lawyer and fight for your rights. Good luck
