Should Dr. Michael Savage, host of the syndicated talk radio show "The Savage Nation" and author of "The Enemy Within" and "Liberalism is a Mental Disorder", run for president of the United States in 2008?

Mike Savage is a very straight-forward man. His compassionate conservative view on our society and nation would have positive tremendous impact on our nation. Along with preserving our nation's language, borders and our flag.

After reading a few answers; it's very clear that the idea that most Americans don't do any research when it comes to politcal issues and take what they hear from the media at face value.

If any of you have bothered to even pick up any of Michael Savages books, he cites all of his sources, whether it is a historical fact, statistical, fact or something that the media just plain-old forgot to include with their story.

Some people think he makes racist remarks. I have never heard him utter one racist remark, I however heard him attack an issue so bluntly that it may come off as anti-semetic.

Sam, As you know, being a listner, Savage has no intrest in being in politics. But, his somewhat "brutal attitude" is a wakeup call for all of us to listen to. His views and knowledge for history, the common good, and unbrainwashed common sense, is above all talk show host that I have ever heard. Most people accuse him of being too brutal, biased, non caring. They have a definite "mental disorder." However, if he ran, he would definitly have my vote.

I listen to Savage Nation, for entertainment purposes. He really makes me laugh! I do find it frightening that you say you take him seriously, he makes many racist, sexist, and ignorant remarks all the time. Some times he is so off the wall I think he has gone over the edge of reason. I really hope that this question is a joke and people do not take the absurd, said for shock value remarks made by Michael Savage as something to believe in.

I wish he would so he can straighten people out in this nation. He is the only talk radio in my opinion to actually care about our nation. Everyone else dances around the subjects and current events... Savage pile drives them.

No, he is a bitter and nasty man at times. He lacks the temperament to be President. I do not support his view on Iraq.

I am a conservative and think Newt is a better choice.
