It's not that hard to figure it out, as I'm very pooftacular (ie: camp).
He often jokingly calls me a the G-poof and such.
Every part of my heart wants to tell him but what if he'll hate me?
I tell him most my secrets, like one time I dreamt I'd kissed the lead singer of this band (a guy) and he didn't seem that shocked.
Should, How or when should I tell him?
P.S. I haven't told anyone else.

If you are only 12 not only are you still developing into an adult, and you are most probably struggling your way through early puberty its also not legal and in my opinion knowing how wicked 12 year old boys can be unwise to tell the world how you feel at this point. I think if you had a kiss from a girl anytime soon your mind would be in disarray the opposite way , maybe if a guy kissed you you would run like a rabbit . I don't condone or advise either its your choice however show some restraint , you are obviously maturing fast enough as you are here asking the questions , take stock , stand back and be sure in your heart when you disclose this to your friend is he as adult as you to accept it..

Oh mate, you must tell him. I'm much older than you but I knew when I was eight that I was gay. I am not camp. I have been crazy about several men but it has always been very hard to say so. So I have loved from a distance all my life. DON'T DO THAT. Just say ... When I was 12 I used to sneak out of home and go and stand outside the house of the boy I really loved and fancied, and imagined that I was in his room, in his bed, etc but I never did anything about it. Don't be scared. Just say it.

Just come out and say it. I have liked girls ever since I was in elementry, but I couldn't bring myself to confess until I was 13 to my first girlfriend, by the end of jr high we broke up. However now we are both 18 and looking for a place to live. I found my true love at that age so don't pass the oprotunity up.
