Could terrorists have planted bombs inside the WTC?

-k- you guys, there's all this talk about the WTC possibly being brought down by bombs planted inside the towers, and everybody (including some academics) who have been making these accusations automatically point the finger at our government.

But has it crossed anybody's mind that terrorists (disguised possibly as maintenance technicians) could have planted bombs inside the towers? After all, they did that very thing in 1993 to the north tower..

What are your thoughts?

The possibility is strong that terrorists could have planted such bombs. This would not make much sense, though, since whether the towers actually crumbled or not had nothing to do with their goal, and planting the bombs could lead to someone getting caught, creating too much risk in the over-all plan to achieve that extra bang. But this is all just an aside.

No extra explosives brought down the towers. There were no signs of hidden bombs, and they would have been discovered. This rumor was probably started as an explanation for why the towers fell when the planes hit so high, but investigations quickly debunked this theory. The idea of our government covering up such evidence is far fetched, but also completely unsupported. Before searching for blame a crime must be found.

When Bin Laden, the mastermind behind all this, expressed surprise that the planes brought down the WTC, then there were no explosives planted by terrorists were there? Who would be the first to claim that they brought down the buildings? The "academics" you speak of are all liberal Bush-haters and most, if not all, know very little of metallurgy, architecture, or are even engineers. To think terrorists planted bombs is more absurd than thinking our own government did it. Have you wondered how many people would believe it if our government claimed they blew up the WTC? I would venture a guess of at least 90%.

Yes, of course they could have. Did they?

We know for certain that two large aircraft flew into the towers. I was shocked when they collapsed, that's for sure, and so were a lot of engineers.

One concern I have is that I heard that the steel beams, rather than being kept for investigation, were shipped over seas to be melted down. They might have told us something more. On the other hand... sometimes we look too much for conspiracies.

I'm more worried about the actions of our government prior to 9-11. Several indicators, if they'd been paid attention to and followed up on, would have allowed authorities to stop the attacks. Was our own government complicit? Whether or not people in our own government were complicit, they certainly took advantage of the attacks to stoke fear and beat the drums of war and push through actions and laws that we never would have accepted pre-9/11.

The majority of the patriot act was written well before 9/11. That thing was huge, and complicated.

Now rinse your eyes so which you would be able to locate properly. study any google you pick on the 911 attackers you will locate the gas interior the planes led to the crumple. twelve months in the past that they tried bombs from the backside and did little or no injury. the form grow to be as lots of a ask your self to the planners because it grow to be to i might wager.

I don't know. The jury is still out on that one. I am still doing research. I have yet to decide in my own mind just who the terrorists really are.

It was definitely terrorists who planted the bombs inside the WTC that brought them down. Definitely terrorists.
