The James Webb Space telescope is going up in 2013. I haven't heard of any "array" telescopes going up.

I don't know if you're thinking of the James Webb Space Telescope or the Next Generation Space Telescope.

it doesn't really matter, according to t he History channel the Myan calander predicts the end of the earth in 2012 so you have six more years to worry about it.
