This is a well known scam...you cash the cheque but before it clears you send the money to another country. Your bank then determines the whole matter is a fraud, you're out the money and some criminal is Africa is laughing. In fact, in Nigeria they actually have music videos about taking westerners money - it's main verse is "I'll Chop Your Dollar" in which they refer to the penal code for such an offence. Check previous episodes of 20/20 for more on this trend. Your local Police should be familiar with this type of fraud as there are victims across Canada and the US.
They most likely accessed your personal information either through the internet, by taking your mail, or perhaps even through your garbage!

Report it to the police.

As long as you don't try to cash the moeny orders, you're not at risk.

If you're worried, just write "REFUSED- RETURN TO SENDER"....on the outside of the envelope. It will just go back to where it came from. Eventually they'll realize they have to move up on to dupe a new person.

If their actual money order just cash them and keep the money. More than likely thier fakes and their expecting you to send your real cash back to them before you realize it.
