This is a Free Service. You go to the attractions you want to go on and use your Park Ticket into the machine. It gives you a 1 hour window later in the day. When you come back you bypass the Standby Line and have a minimal minute wait(usually in the 5-10 minute range).

Some basic rules
1. Everyone in your party going on the attractions must have a FastPass Ticket. But that person does not have to be there to get the FastPass so you could have one "runner" go to the machine and get it for each person in the group as long as they had all of the tickets.
2. You are allowed 1 every 2 hours or when your Fastpass becomes active.
Example:
If you get a Fastpass for Space Mountain at 12 Noon and it is for 3pm, you can get another FastPass after 2pm.

If you get a Fastpass for Space Mountain at 12 noon and it is for 1:30pm, you can get another one at 1:30pm.

The only execption to this is that you can not have more than 1 fastpass for a single attraction at one time. That is in the first case if your fastpass for Space Mountain was at 3pm you can not get another fastpass for Space Mountain until after 3pm, even though you could get one for other attractions as soon as 2pm.

The bottom of your FastPass Ticket will let you know when you can get another one.

3. They are not on every attraction
In Disneyland they are currently on
Space Mountain
Buzz Lightyear
Indiana Jones
Splash Mountain
Big Thunder Mountain
Roger Rabbit
Seasonnally on Haunted Mansion and Autopia

4. Do not try to show up early, they will NOT let you use the FastPass before the printed time.

You insert your admission ticket into the fastpass machine and it will print a Fastpass ticket with a return time on it say between 4 and 5 pm. Return during that hour and you skip way ahead in line. You can only have 1 fastpass out at a time though.

The fastpass is FREE. People here have already said everything but I'll add that when you put your fastpass through that machine, you have to wait a certain number of hours to get your next fastpass!

One fastpass will let you "cut" ahead of people for ONE SPECIFIC RIDE. You get in line to get a fastpass, stick in your ticket, and out comes your ticket and a fastpass. If you have a fastpass, then you get in a different line from the regular people. I would highly recommend them.

Fastpasses can be found in the lines of certain attractions that use it.. I believe you stick your ticket in the machine, and a paper comes out, it will show the times that you can come to the ride without waiting.

in fact, a great form of human beings have not any concept what speedy passes are. And, maximum human beings do no longer understand the way the equipment works. in spite of the indisputable fact that, now and lower back, you could actually get on a journey quicker by waiting in line, contained in the wait is short (each so often, surprisingly contained in the morning, maximum human beings will take a speedy bypass for a generic journey early, while rather, in case you in basic terms get in line early, you have time to journey that journey two times in the previous lots of the speedy bypass human beings would have had a raffle. it actually relies upon) all over the park, you will come across a container close to the journey you prefer to get a speedy bypass for labled as such (that is going to appear like a bypass between a small atm and a take an excellent determination device, they're rather obtrusive). Take in basic terms what number passes you prefer (one according to person). as quickly as you have your speedy passes, verify the time on the value tag to work out while it is your flip to journey. return to the ideal speedy bypass LINE on the time precise. be particular your waiting contained in the wonderful line, there could be a great form of confussion and additionally you could finally end up waiting the comprehensive time besides. pay attention!!! some rides have not got speedy bypass machines, so confirm you bypass on those rides first!!! The strains can get rather long. On christmas, I even have been there many situations, it quite is maximum suitable to get there early, take a great form of water for waiting in line, and prepare for a crowd. a sturdy tip, in the experience that your no longer into parades all that lots, hit the enormous rides while the enormous christmas parades are occurring. MAKE DINNER RESERVATIONS!!! the superb places to consume will fill up REALLLY quickly. i could lead them to now, actually, in case you could. different than that, besides the group being rather bigger, that is rather lots the comparable as the different area of the year.

it lets you bypass all the lines, like after you get on a ride you can grab a ticket-and that ticket tells you what time you have to come back to get on the ride. They usually have a separate line for fast-pass customers-so that line is shorter but you'll still have to wait.
