no sound is coming out. i turned on the speaker but nothing is coming out. maybe i accedently pushed a button and made it mute. help me turn it back on. i have a dell, dimmension B110. its xp.

On the bottom of your screen in the right hand corner find the picture of a little round speaker. If it isn't there then expand the arrow. Click on it and move the sound bar up!

If the sound problems occur intermittently, there could be a interrupt conflict problem. Uninstall the audio and sound drivers and restart the computer. The computer will automatically reinstall the required drivers and the problem will be resolved. The tire rubbing noise- does it sound greater like a growl? Does it make the noise purely on a left or good turn? feels like a wheel bearing to me. if they dont work try making sure you speakers are plugged into the correct jack * green for most speaker * in the back of your computer and make sure it is all powered on and the correct drivers installed

on the Taskbar to the right their should be a volume thingy right click on it and and clips "open volume control" and edit it right their or the problem is u have no sound card hehe

go to your desktop,click=start=control panel=sounds,speech,and audio devices=now adjust your system volume here hope this fixes you up!
