Been friends for years and looking for more. Long story short; things didn’t go well and we haven’t spoken in a while. I cherish her friendship but I am not willing to put my dignity on the line and make a fool of myself by calling. It is killing me waiting for the phone to ring……………………

One you should know the answer to this yourself. Friendship is strong, so if things didn't work out then you both have to accept it. You say you cherish her friendship, well then that should tell you right then. You still want to be friends with her. So forget dignity, when you try to keep a friendship then that means you have plenty of dignity. You know what is the right thing to do so do it. This can only make your friendship stronger.

I see nothing to lose in picking up the phone calling her, she's your friend, or isn't she? You have nothing to lose, not your pride or dignity. See? You already have a burning desire to hear her voice, :) why not call her? Pick up tha phone and give her a call.
Come on, break the ice, man. Call her..... now!
I uesd to feel the same way for a friend of mine, but when I broke the ice sometime by calling her,our friendship became even stronger. try it.

You can be proud of yourself for being the bigger person and calling to save what's left of the friendship. You only live once, don't let chances pass you by.

Swallow your pride and call her!!!! You could be missing out on a great thing and you'll never know it because you didn't take the chance.

just call her! you can regain a good friendship. she probably thinks that you never want to talk to her again, and doesn't want to bother you. calling can make all the difference.

Call - you'll regret it later if you don't, and the longer you wait, the harder it'll be. They'll also appreciate the step, and see that you value them.
