You are misunderstanding how the system works. You work two weeks and are paid for those two weeks of work two weeks later. Thus, when you quit working for these people, you will receive your final paycheck two weeks after the end of the last pay period you work.

Ex.
Salary for working 12/31 - 1/13 is paid to you on 1/27
Salary for working 1/14 - 1/27 is paid to you on 2/10
1/28 - 2/10 is paid on 2/24

And so on.

This question has been lingering for years, as you can see you already have two completely different answers, one lady says you will get paid the other lady says yes but you will have to wait for the first two weeks of pay. The truth of the matter is that after a few years of working for the company you forget about those two weeks, the company pockets the money and everyone is happy. The holding back of two weeks pay is the greatest scam put upon the working man since minimum wages.

(I'm assuming you're an hourly employee.) The company can't even know how much to pay you until you've worked and entered you hours. Then you get paid. You just always get paid after the work. When you leave, you get a final paycheck also. Some companies try to avoid this by paying you in the middle of the work period by having employees forecast for the rest of the two weeks, but this adds extra work and hassle so many abandon it.

LOL. Yes, you see those two weeks of pay in your first paycheck. For example, if you started on the 1st but aren't paid until the 31st, it is for the entire month. Then you work the entire next month and get paid the last day of the month again. No one is going to pay you before you work the time.
