What brand has the heaviest and most powerful N scale locomotives? Ours is having trouble pulling.?

We currently have a Bachmann/Spectrum engine. New cars seem to have slowed it down considerably.

Chances are you do not have a large enough power supply. For more info about booster systems see the link I have provided below.

I also advise you contact the local N-scale club in your area where you can exchange tips and ideas. They will be found by calling your local model train supply store.
