I took my son to see a pantomime about 10 or 11 years ago. It was Cinderella at my local theatre. There was a comedian in it who is now an international movie actor (Omid Djalili). He was cursing and swearing so much, saying "bumbu clart", "ras clart", etc. He isn't West Indian nor is he of West Indian decent so he didn't realise that those words are particularly offensive (or perhaps he did, but didn't care).

I've never been to see a panto since.
