Am I anorexic?

Question

I eat normally, three meals a day, and people are telling me I am anorexic because I think I am fat when I am 70 pounds at 5"6.
I thought anorexia was when you don't eat anything. Am I anorexic?

Thinking you're fat is the key to the anorexia mindset.

When you eat, do you throw it up afterwards? If so, you could be bulimic.

Get help because it is highly unusual to weigh so little at 5'6" and for your age (if that picture is you).

Three meals consisting of what? If you consider eating an apple a meal, then yes you are anorexic. You do have the anorexic mindset of thinking your fat at 70 lbs.

Anorexia is when you don't eat anything, but it is also when you think you are fat when you are deathly thin (which you are). Bulimia is when you eat a ton of food, then vomit afterwards. There is also a exercise disorder of working out too much or constantly.

You need to talk to your family physician about your weight and what you eat.

Well you're very underweight.
Anorexia is psychological. It's when someone starves themselves because they constantly believe they are fat. Some people don't compeltely stop all eating, but when they look in a mirror their mind is telling them they're fat. I would need more information about how much you eat, but you might want to consider talking to a parent or doctor. You can also try talking to your school's health teacher.

i'd say no... unless you skip meals, count calories, and are losing weight... which according to what you wrote, seems unlikely.
but you are really really underweight. not fat at all!! how old are you??
