I just got engaged and am looking for a location for our wedding. It will be smallish (50-100 people).

I live in Los Angeles, but am open to anywhere within a reasonable distance, or a "destination" spot in Southern California like San Diego.

I don't want to get married in a park or a large hotel and I'd like the ceremony/reception to be in the same place. Ideally, I envision a cute little restaurant with an outdoor brick patio and twinkley lights.

If anyone has a good idea (could just be your favorite romantic restaurant), I'd appreciate it!

A friend of mine got married at Almasor Court in Alhambra. The ceremony was ouside in a gazebo next to the lake and the reception was just inside the door. Very nice set up.

Santa Barbara has a lot of nice spots, just nothing that comes to mind right now. Hopefully someone else will chime in here.

Congratulations.

You can have a wedding outside by the lake. The grounds are gorgeous, and they have parking. You would have to have your reception at another place. When I was going to get married some years ago they had a two years waiting list.

Check the Inn of the Seventh Ray in Topanga, just off Topanga Cyn Rd. It's so cute, beautiful views of the canyon and amazing food. It's very romantic.

My uncle recommended my brother to celebrate their nuptial with Annie at 5401 Olympic. This place offers a rustic, elegant view and well-ventilated spot and can accommodate several persons. We're planning also with my fiancee to celebrate our anniversary at the same place, because we know that 5401 Olympic is the BEST place to celebrate every thing. 310-628-2977 here is there phone number. Gladly I have it in my phone.

Try the Castaways in Burbank. They have a spectacular view of the city at night... and a wonderful gazebo designed for weddings! They will cater a wedding and help you plan it as well.
