Not necessarily, but we should either kick em off our soil or revoke ALL diplomatic immunity as it pertains to civil and criminal activity on our soil.
We can govern ourselves thank you, we don't need former warlords, dictators, frenchmen and their ilk telling us what to do, and using our resources and generosity to indulge themselves.
The UN is like an annoying free-loading brother-in-law who comes to visit and won't leave, all the while telling you how to conduct every aspect of your life.

I am not sure if it should be done away with completely. There should be some world organization that allows nations to solve issues with the help of the international community. I do think the UN needs to be revised, updated, and amended. It is currently a very ineffective organization. The UN needs to take a good look at its mission, revise it if necessary, and then change itself to best implement that mission.

It should be reformed. It fills a key role in bringing countries together to stand against cruelty to the innocent like Sadam Hussein did, but it has no capability to enforce its standards, such as the 17 proclamations against the tyranny of Saddam. That needs to change. It needs to be a body that has the will to enforce its resolutions, rather than rely on the US to do that for them.

Lord no!

Without the U.N, we would face the threat of Nuclear war once again.

This time being on the sides of America and North Korea.

Kim Jong-Il would be free to test and expand his nuclear arms without sanction.

And the situation in the middle-east would explode. Leaving millions of innocent people in danger.

Anyone that believes losing the U.N would be a blessing should take all of the facts in.

John Bolton was doing a good job and starting to get the corruption out of the UN. He was standing up for the US, and not bowing down.
That's why the Democrats HAD to get rid of him.

Yes, America and Israel have made it an institution of ineffectiveness.

I see it as useless as Bush.
