my friend kayla is a sad person.?

well tonight she wants me to spend the night with her because its her birthday and she has her step brother with her and he used to have a crush on me and now he says hes over me and well kayla has bad parents because they beat her a her lil bro and i dont want to go to her house and see that .. AGIAN. But its her birthday and i cant miss that..i mean it would hurt her...so....what should i do?

maybe you should go and if they hit her then you need to take serious action! if you already knew they hit her, then you should have told someone long ago. she's your friend. just telling a counselor can help but like i said you need to HELP HER!
