At the age of 33, I decided to return to college and get my Bachelor's degree. Having the degree is wonderful, but the things I learned about myself and the self-confidence I gained are priceless (now I sound like a Mastercard commercial).

So far, the best decisions in my life have been the ones where I have truly followed my passions.
1. Going to art school
2. After getting my degree, moving out to the mountains to do nothing but snowboard.

Art school taught me so much about art, and about myself. The snowboarding thing is about where I'm at right now, I've been here in the Colorado rockies for about a month, and I'm having a blast!

To be true to myself and NOT go to school to become a veterinarian, but to study Equestrian Science instead. Bonus Answer: I followed my dad's advice and took a second major in Business to fall back on. I've used both my majors so far, and feel very happy about the decision I made on what to study in college.

that's a toughie, i've made so many brilliant decisions in my life, and i've pulled some real boners, too...and it is hard to tell which was better for me in the long run...because the stellar screw-ups were lessons hard learned and valuable, and the brilliant decisions were either common sense or accident.

Not sleeping with that 300 lb woman that I met at a house party. She was very fat and very ugly... and very needy and co-dependant.. not to mention that she was a little crazy and vendictive too.
