when i pick out and outfit and try it on it looks really cute and every thing when i looke in the mirror. but whenever i take pictures it looks really bad. like i picked out an outfit to wear to christmas at my aunts. and i felt really pretty and in it and it looked fine to me. but when my sis sent me pics of christmas what i was wearing looked really bad.lol.everyone else in the pics looked normal.. i didn't even tell my sis what i thought of the pics but shes like you looked really cute on christmad i loved your outfit you were wearing. . does this happen to anyone else or is it just me??

when you're looking into the mirror, you see yourself as the way you see yourself.
when a picture of you is taken, you see yourself as the way others see you.
because it's something you're not used to, it looks worse, or sometimes better.
if you take a mirror picture of yourself, you'll look fine!

NOOO me too all the time.Its cause you wear somethin that really is adorable/cute/hot and then durning the event or thruout the day u get so use to being in it and then u see what everyone else is wearing and u pick out things out of their outfits u like/LOVE you kinda compare it without knowingit.Then when u get the pictures u think it wasnt hot/cute anymore.It deffently happens to me.More times then i can count

Hmmm.... maybe you're imagining things. I has happened to me before, but it's because I personally made the pictures look awkward, not my outfit. Perhaps you could check in the mirror before you take pictures, and adjust your poise so that you look good in the outfit. Practically, you make the clothes, not the other way around.

OMG THIS HAPPENS TO ME TOO! Like today i put really pretty makeup on and I liked so cute in the mirror so I decided to take a pic of me with my new camera and I look sooo ugly!

its not an insult
but u kno how some people might b wizzes at a subject but they get always get a F on the tests
well u probably look great but then ur body sends out like a vibe and the pics aren't good

It happens to everyone. You could feel beautiful but the picture won't come out that way. Not everyone is photogenic (?). I hate taking pictures. I'll only take pictures if it's professionally done.
