Absolutely normal!! My trouble this time around was that I knew what hospitals I preferred and I was dead against having a male doctor again - It was really really tough! Some of the clinics I tried gave me quite a hard time, and I remember feeling - 'Am I asking too much?' - Once I finally found the 'right' fit, it was worth all the arkwardness!!!! Best of luck.... Don't settle with something you aren't 100% comfortable with! It's much easier to enjoy this process with a clinic that makes you feel like family!!!

Yes it is normal. I wasn't very happy with the doctor who delivered my son this time I have a different doctor and he seems good. I think I will be happier now. The first doctor was nice but he was kind of weird he didn't even talk to me in the delivery room he watched saved by the bell. Good Luck!!

It's so important that you're comfortable with your doctor that I think it's absolutely normal and right to try different doctors to find one who you can talk with. If you feel awkward you won't ask all of your really important questions and you may worry about something you don't need to. Hang in there and remember that you have a right to great care and that you need a doctor who treats you kindly and with respect. Good luck and congratulations!

Yes because you feel like they are looking at you weird. I found a great doctor by calling the hospital I wanted to deliver at. Also.. from your other posts.. have EVERYTHING transferred that way the new doctor can make informed decisions with you. If you don't want to take meds fine, but tell them why and be open about it.. Good luck

I have changed doctors twice already and I have to again before I have the baby, (re-locating) and yes it is. Make suer you are comfortable though. Cause as blunt as this is, you ARE going to end up with no pants on spread eagle for this person and then they will be handling your brand new baby so you have every right to change doctors till your comfortable.

It's very normal. I finally found a Dr. that I was comfortable with and it was a female Dr. I am 36 now and still won't go to a male Dr. just for check ups.

i wouldnt feel awkward, i would chop and change doctors until i found someone i was completley satisfied with , you are putting your trust in them to care for you and your unborn child!! which is an extremly important thing, you need to be 100% certain you are recieving the best care possible at this time.
