No Lie - When I Was A Junior In H.S. I Had Brought Air Alert & It Seemed To Work - It Might Not Be Good For You Knees In The Long Run lol But I Promise I Was Able To Jump Higher With Ease - And The Further You Get Into The Program The Harder It Is - I Stopped Like At Week 8 I Think - It Worked For Me Thats All I Can Say - Im About 6ft & I Have Like A 6'2 6'3 Wingspan So I Dont Have To Jump All That High To Dunk - But Jumpin Rope Is Good & Calf Raises R Good 2 - Air Only Cost $25 I Think

If you have access to dumbbells/weights you will be better off.

1st - Stretch your legs really well.

2nd - Do 5 sets of lunges - Holding a broom stick over your shoulders in both hands will keep good form. You'll want to do
this with some weight in your hands - As your doing the lunges bring your knee down very slowly down to the floor and the key is to move quickly in the upward motion

3rd - Toe Raises - This will work on your calves. So 5 sets of this. Again- the main movement here is a quick upward motion. If you can - stand on a step - you'll want to lower you'll heel downward to get the biggest stretch of your calf as possible.

4th - Step Ups - You can use a weight bench for the best results. Holding weights in your hands - step onto the bench with your right leg, then your left leg - then step down left leg then right leg. You'll want to alternate your stepping leg. 5 sets of these

5th and last. Leap Frogs -Stand flat footed and jump onto either a weight bench (bench bress bench) or some aerobic stairs. You'll want to jump from a squat motion and explode up and stand straight up on the bench/stair, step down and do again. Do this 20 times - rest 2 minute and do 4 more sets. Eventually you'll want to hold weights in your hands. Not only will this build your fast twitch muscle fiber it will strengthen your hamstrings and quads. Which is used for verticle jumping.

Good luck!
