Life – it has a meaning and loving purpose - you just have to find your purpose and live it.

I believe every person is here for a definite purpose. Each person is special and valuable; that refers to me, you, your family, friends, in fact everybody! There is a loving plan for each of our lives here on earth and there is no such thing as coincidence. I don't believe that anything in life happens by chance and that every aspect of our lives points to something deeper.

You need to decide now to live for God rather than for yourself. You spend your life on Earth preparing yourself (as best you can) for death. I don't see death as a scary, negative experience, but birth into a bliss filled eternal life with God. I believe that this is something you have to consciously choose or not during your life on earth.

The meaning of life is for us to discover that we are true children of an infinitely loving and merciful God, to find out what our responsibilities are to our Creator, and to fulfill those responsibilities. Each of us is called to affirm, accept and develop the talents God has given us. -

80% of humanity, the religious folks, don't need to ask the meaning of life, the church tells them....the supernatural explanation. But the rest of us can't swallow religious dogma, because there's no evidence. Nobody can prove that there life after death, that people are tortured or rewarded after life or that there's invisible spirits running around.

I've come to two conclusions recently:

1. Life has no meaning
2. Life has a million meanings.

First, there's a certainty that death and annihilation awaits not only you, but the Earth in general. It's an astonomical certainty that our sun will supernova and leave the earth a burnt crisp, not to mention all the other extinction level events around the corner.

Second, the million things that give us meaning are the pleasurable experiences we can conjure up during the short period we are here on the earth, in the form of the relationships we have with our kids and other people, and the 'housekeeping' types of purposes. What i mean by that are the curing disease, ending hunger, improving literacy, reducing crime, preventing war, helping other kinds of things.

So the bottom line is, we only have a temporary meaning to life, to reduce pain and increase pleasure, other than that everything is lost to oblivion.

To be or not to be? "To be" is temporary and "not to be" is inevitable.....

Why are we here is not the question really. The fact is that we are. Who, what, where, why and how, that is the real question and the answers for this is in the living. At the end of that life when we die, can we say that we would do it all the same? Most likely not? I feel that the meaning of life is to attain personal growth and knowledge of who we are as individual beings. Does God play a roll in that? Yes, because I beleive that in the end we will stand before Him and he will know us by our works. Ask yourself if you are worth getting to know right now and did I think of others more then myself? That is the who, what, when, why and how of the answer to your question. Just as you said one persons opinion.

There is no meaning, none. Nothing means anything. It's up to you to give it meaning. You decide how significant everything is. There is this old movie called "Circle of Iron" where the main character is trying to get to this monastery to find this book that contains the meaning of life. He goes through all kinds of ordeals to get there, each one teaching him something but still not giving him the bottom line, what does it all mean. When he finally gets to the monastery he demands to see the book, and the abbot reluctantly lets him. He opens it...and it is nothing but page after page of mirrors. The meaning of life.

The meaning of life to me is to live your life fully, to have a great family, and make friends, to start a new family, and keep living on. To have fun, and achieve your goals

There is no meaning to life; to just live. To reproduce to keep the human race going. That is the way it is, and the way that it will always be.

The meaning of life is different in everyone. You have to look within yourself to find it.

The meaning of life?
This would be an opinion of course, for god has sent us out to search for this purpose.I,personally, would say, creation, love, and
friendship.God had tended us to be friendly yet as we advanced, wars and things struck out fighting.
Why are we here?
To do what god wants us to do.To be faithful to him,to live on his planet,in his world.
The purpose of our creation?
Again, this is a mystery we are all searching for, otherwise,I would say the above. To serve god's requests, and to live in peace.
We were created BY God, FOR God.
