l've just bought a microsoft notebook optical mouse 3000 but it dosen't work! l've tried everything! HELP!!

l've done what the instructions book tells me but the mouse just won't work with my p.c????

Have you restarted your PC? Sometimes windows just won't recognise nw hardware without a restart. Sometimes stuff is just plain bad out of the box. If it's wireless did you put the batteries in and in right? Did you initialize it? (little button on the bottom)

Try pressing the reset button on the bottom of the mouse. I have one too & I end up having to reset it atleast once a week. If teh light on the USB is blinking rather than simply lit, then it probably needs to be reset.
Or try using a different usb port, sometimes I have to switch mine.
