Apparently, travel tax and airport tax at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport are not included in your ticket unlike in other airports. They are paid separately by cash at the airport counter.

Travel tax is paid before or after check-in at one counter for P1,620 if youre Filipino but not Overseas Contract Worker. If youre lucky and youre just a housewife, they let you pay P200. But if not lucky, the former. For airport tax, which paid once you checked in and all, thisis paid in the inner parts of the airport - its P550.But if youre another nationality, no travel tax fees.only airport tax.

Used to be $10 or 550P, but starting 2007 they're tacking on a 150P surcharge (so what else is new) making it 700P. ..... Or at least that was what the Star said.
