Getting excellent grades in high school is the start, consult the guidance counselor at school, take all recommended classes.Scoring high on a SAT will get you in a good college.Next will come the MCATS exams to get you accepted into a Med School that's 4 years.Next comes state exams for Medical license to practice, then applying to a Med Center to start a Residency and training usually 4 yrs, extra time for sub specialties like Neonatology etc.
