I live in a smaller city on the border of West Virginia and Kentucky. People around this area still grow weed because there are a lot of isolated hills and valleys here that are hard for police to patrol.

BUT . . . this is also the bible belt so the majority of people here think smoking weed is a big time sin. So, although a lot of weed is grown here, it's smoked behind closed doors for the most part.

By the way, you can still find moonshine here.

I am from Colorado and it all depends on who you hang out with or where you are. Some of my friends smoke in the car right in public and others act like its crack and lock the doors first. But I still see it as illegal and I dont smoke it right out in public maybe in my living room or something. Colorado also has a smoking ban no tobaco in public so if you smoke weed or tobaco you stick out in public

Although I don't smoke it, I say people oughtta be able to grow and smoke all they want. It's not like a manufactured drug like Meth or Crack, which can actually kill you. I mean how many people have OD'd on weed? Seriously, its a natural grass that grows from a seed, and if it were dangerous, Mother Nature would not have created it.

So....smoke on potheads, smoke on...

Here in Scottsdale, AZ, it is not as "taboo" as it once was. If you ask someone about it, they aren't too surprised. I was at a bus-stop last week, and someone lit up a joint. No one else at the bus-stop was phased at all.
