If he was using the kind of jewelry that is recommended for that kind of peircing, then you probably have what is called a "captive bead ring" the jewelry is shaped like a 'c' and the bead has two small indentations on either side.

To remove the jewelry, you need special tools, kinda. You have to figure out some way to spread the ring apart, which will loosen the bead enough to remove it. This can be kinda difficult if the jewelry is surgical stainless steel and you may need a friend to help. Just make sure that you are fully healed before you try to change it, and wrap any tools in masking tape or duct tape so that you don't scratch the ring.

If you just got your belly button pierced today do not remove it. Let it heal.

If you need to take it out go to the person that pierced your belly button and they will remove it for you.

Tie one end of a string to it and the other end to a doorknob Oops that's the tooth thing. Just remember it's the ugly people who need all those piercings to draw attention to themselves. I'm sure you don't need that ring, remove it and let it heel there beautiful.

Unscrew the little ball, sometimes they just pop out. Don't do it until it is completely healed. If you leave it out too long it will heal up, also it really hurts if you move it too much.

you may decide directly to visit the guy who pierced your abdomen an have them substitute it for you. the 1st time you alter it, that's perplexing to place the ring lower back in & the ring you're speaking approximately must be taken out with "needle nostril pliers" by utilising the guy who did the piercing for you. (I additionally had the ring)
