A couple of months before my 11th birthday. But every woman is different. I know lots of my friends in high school didn't get their periods until they were 16 or 17. I probably weighed about 80 pounds and I was probably about 4 and a half feet tall.

I got my period about 11 days ago. I currently weight 123, and I'm 5' 4.5"
The first time I got it was 2 weeks after my fifteenth birthday, at which time I was maybe 5' 2" and 90 pounds? Don't remember, it was over 25 years ago, but when I got out of high school at the same height I am now, I weighed about 95 pounds.
Don't worry about it, it's not all it's cracked up to be, changing tampons and pads and having cramps and being moody.

i got mine when i was about 11 1/2 ..me and my friend were sitting on my bed talking about it...and just the day before..it was during the summer and i'd been to a gymnastics practice and i remember people saying ..should we tell her. Well...the next day...i was wearing the same shorts....somehow..i just hadn't noticed that I'd started lol!! I probably weighed...oh..about ..i was small..so probably 75-85 pounds and i was probably 4'9 or something..i was short..skinny...and wore a big padded bra lol!! I also thought my period was never going to go away..i think it had lasted for 8 days.

I was at the tender age of 11 I was 5'1" and I think I weight a little over 90 pounds, I was SO SKINNY! ICK! LOL!
