why don't you start off by telling your mom the truth I do and she doesn't get upset because if you don't tell her she won't know, it's kinda like those people who get all those sweaters or ties for christmas but don't really like them or want them if they would just tell someone straight-up hey I don't like that instead of your mom hearing from someone else that you don't like it (I would think that would hurt her feelings more than just going to her and saying mom this just isn't my style).....Good Luck....Happy Holidays!!! (unless she made it her self of course then I would wear it just to make her happy, but if it's just something she bought tell her she just may not understand the style these days or your style in particular)

You need something light-colored to contrast against the dark colors of the skirt. If you're pale-skinned, try a light-green sweater. If you're more tanned, try a white sweater that leaves a couple of inches of midriff bare.

Its ok but I think you should wear it with a hoodie the is sort of long,not big, beacause wool isnt that flattering

you should wear some deep brown uggs and maybe like a beige sweater or something of that sort. i think it would look best with neutral colors.

truly what the type is wearing is what i might say! placed on some nude shoes (pumps or heels) and a definite black precise. in all probability beautify with some nude bracelets and a reasonably flower head band or necklace.
