Is it supposed to be a tradition again? I haven't thought of it yet. Whatever I fancy on the day, really. Would be lovely to have a little cabbage, though... ;-)

Hoppin' John for luck. Black-eyed peas, tomatoes, other veggies, rice. It's a delicious side dish. You can serve it with anything -- ham, turkey, roast beef. Wishing you health, happiness, and prosperity in '07! God bless.

its my partners brothers birthday, so we go to the inlaws and have a huge dinner/buffett type thing, with all sorts on, and have a few glasses of wine or sangria (she makes it), then she does another one in the evening if we are all still there (which we will be because her food is lovely lol)!

I'm normally still a little tired and emotional on New Year's Day, so often don't eat much at all.
