i would suggest Naturally Glossy Mascara from Clinque, they have the finest mascara, very easy to remove and gives you long nice lashes without a clump. this mascara lifts, lengthens, and separates lashes. Lashes stay silky, pliant, clump-and flake-free through multiple coats.

Just about every mascara is not chunky if it's applied correctly. I would stick with the stuff in the green and pink bottle (I can't remember the brand, but you'll see it). Be sure to scrape off the extra mascara that sticks to the bottom of the wand before applying it. Then you need to curl your lashes (for best results) and apply one to two coats simultaneously. Do one eye at a time. If the mascara dries in between coats, you get the chunky stuff.

I use Maybelline. The tube is pink with a green cap. Its the blackest black and you can double it up without it getting chunky. I have bought the mall brands like clinique and estee lauder. It's the best Mascara yet!

I never believed in a good mascara until my sister introduced me to L'oreal Double Extend. You put this white creamy part on first and then the black mascara...It looks awesome...Take Care, with Prayers, Smitha

The kind of mascara that is not chunky is usually the kind with combs instead of brushes. They are good for separation.

maybelline lash stylist. they have a different kind of wand... it's prickly, kind of like plastic instead of the normal wand. they are more separated, so it prevents clumping.
you can also clean your wand with mild soap and warmy water every now and again so that it will get all of the old mascara off.

I personally like Maybelline--the old fashioned stuff that comes in the pink tube or pink and green tube if you're going for waterproof. It's cheap, and it never fails me.
I like to buy it with the curved wand.
