Hi Abby! The suggested sites and stores by the guys are worth looking into. But just an addition, the bigger the storage does not meant it is fast. Try to go for the 80GB storage my friend had the one over 100Gb and it is slow. If you need additional storage you could use an external drive. This way it does not decrease your laptops processing speed. Another thing you want a nice laptop, there are a lot of laptops that looks cool and comes in a variety of colors. You may choose one that suites you but corporate ones are usually black. Good luck! Hope I help a little.

Lady, the only thing that you will get from this forum are opinions. Many of them will be based on false information or little or no information.
Please by a LAP TOP magazine. read some of the articles that will help you to know a bit more about what a Laptop is about from a performance stance. Performance is what any computer is about! It is just that some people require more performance than others.
Forget LOOKS- First look at what you want/need the laptop to do
at the price that you are willing to pay! Also consider the price of the software that you will need to buy!
From the Laptop magazine, chose a site that lets you select
the size of hard drive, graphics card or not, more RAM or not
DVD BURNER, not DVD ROM!
You have to do your own homework, lady.
Suggestions: Intel Dual Core Processor, 1GB RAM, 7200RPM
SA TA 100GB or more hard drive, DVD burner, graphics card,
wireless installed,, 17 inch screen or larger, Windows VISTA or
P Pro. For extras us.kensington.com, or new egg.com, hp.com
look at as many as you can!
You are trying to buy a computer, not a pretty toy box!
