the conservatives have banned it in my state. taking away a business owners rights.

I'll assume you meant city......and yes my hometown Houston's smoking ban goes into effect next September. Austin and Beaumont have had smoking bans for a while now. I'm ok with people smoking on the patio.....would rather my clothes and everything in a ten foot radius reek of smoke the next day.

This is all so stupid, they want to ban smoking, but it's fine to sell cigarettes. The government wants the taxes and doesn't give a damn about you.
Houston banning cigarette is funny, you cannot see where you are going for the soot in the air, and thats not from cigarettes.
