Can I sue someone for false applications of Retail Sales Tax?

I currently have bought very expensive purchases from National Sport (My Friend I mean) and they applied the taxes incorrectly and would not refund our tax as they claim it is correct. I have looked over it twice and read Retail Sales Tax Act and it was still incorrect.

try working for your money...don't always look for the easy way to make money

Call whatever agency in your state is responsible for sales tax, and ask them (1) if the application was correct or not, and (2) if it wasn't what you can do about it.

You should be able to find contact information on your state website.

In any case, the best you could do is probably to get the excess back that was charged.
