I love my boyfriend very much and he feels the same way. He is doing his best to build a bright and new future for us when the new yr hits. My parents dont like him and are not willing to sit down and talk to him and find out what hes like. Tomorrow I need to make a decision on whether or not I should be w/him. I've given him many chances to change and by all the talks we had over the phone I truly believe him. I'm just afraid that my parents will disapprove my decision in going back to him. I know I'm old enough to decide for myself. I'm just afraid that my parents will never speak to me again. What can I do? Times ticking...Thanks!

Why the sudden time frame? You've given him many chances to change? Seems like you've had problems with him before. Don't be in a hurry to make this big of a decision. You will need time for this. You will need time to see if he's truly changed. Sometime parents can be unfair when it comes to their children's girlfriends or boyfriends. To some daddies, no one is good enough for their little girl. Taking that into consideration, understand this also. Parents have been there. They know all the tricks, the excuses, pretty much have experience in what you're going through. Sometimes they're dead on when they say that a person is no good. You don't become old being a fool. So, if you do decide to go with this guy, and your parents stop speaking to you.....then I would say they have the problem. My best advice for you to do is to not put tomorrow as deadline. A relationship is a serious thing, and it needs serious thought. Best of luck to you.........

Why is he waiting until the New Year hits to build a bright and new future for you? If he wanted you that bad why hasn't he already made a future for you? If you are counting on a bright and new future, I think you ought to take a good look. No one can promise you a bright future.

Maybe its time to listen to your parents. Is he a cheater? Is he unemployed? Is he a drug dealer? you said you gave him chances before and nothing has changed.So why waste any more time with him?
